Hey, Craig here and thanks for checkin in on me and my project - 1977 Trans Am restoration. Check out the pix page - I now have a few videos of the beast as she is getting ready for tearing up some asphault!

Please - If you have any comments or suggestions, email me or when I get the blog up and going blog it there for others to review.

I could use some good tips on this semi-restoration. I'm not doing a true frame off restoration but it's getting close to that as I get deeper into it!

My 1977 Pontiac Trans Am is going to powered by a Pontiac 400 Stroker motor - 468 cubic inches - and a 700R4 transmission. I am hoping to get 475HP or more and a ton of torque. I chose the 700R4 because the gearing is considerably lower than the TH350 or TH400 in first and a little lower in second. Check out the "Transmission Gear Review TH350 vs. TH400 vs 700R4" on the pix/vids page. This will actually give you the true gear ratio for all 3 transmissions.

Thanks!
